What is Boycotting?

As a consumer, you have the power and freedom to express yourself through what you purchase in your everyday life. Boycotting is refusing to support or purchase from a business or individual. Boycotting is a way to show solidarity with a cause and is an awesome way to show that there is power in numbers!

You may be wondering, “Why should I care, especially if it has nothing to do with me or my country?”. The truth is, supporting harmful causes can cause a negative domino effect on any and everywhere else, thanks to interconnectedness and globalization. People say that the United States of America is a melting pot, but as time progresses, the world is increasingly becoming one as well. While it is understandable that not everyone wishes to boycott, we encourage using your consumer power where you see fit because money talks!
